Stéphane Lefebvre appointed CEO of ZORGI

Monday 12 June 2023

Stéphane Lefebvre is to become the new Chief Executive Officer of ZORGI, a subsidiary of the NRB Group since 2011. He will officially take up his position in September, succeeding interim CEO Stéphane Moray, who will resume his fulltime role as CFO.

Stéphane Lefebvre has a degree in Political Science & Public Administration from the University of Liège, where he was also a teaching assistant. Rapidly seeking positions involving public responsibility, his career really took off in 2003, when he became Chief of Cabinet of the then Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Didier Reynders. After six years in politics, Stéphane Lefebvre embarked on a new challenge and joined the National Lottery as Chief Operations Officer, a position he held until the end of 2016.

The year 2017 marked a turning point in his career. It was then that he decided to become involved in the healthcare sector in Belgium, with his appointment as CEO of the regional hospital group CHR Verviers East Belgium, as well as his appointment to the board of Santhea, the employers’ federation of Walloon and Brussels care institutions from the public sector and the non-denominational and non-commercial private sector. In 2020, he also joined the board of the Belgian Association of Hospital Managers (BAHM).

André Vanden Camp, Chairman of the Board of ZORGI and Managing Director of the NRB Group comments:

“We are delighted to welcome Stéphane to the NRB Group. His expertise and his experience in the medical field are valuable assets which will enable him to contribute actively to the development of ZORGI. Stéphane will know how to capitalise on the specific characteristics of our company while strengthening the synergies with NRB. His arrival will strengthen our team and open up exciting new perspectives for the future.”

Stéphane Lefebvre, the new CEO of ZORGI says: “It is with great enthusiasm that I am joining Zorgi and the NRB Group, and I thank them for the trust they are placing in me by appointing me CEO. I am eager to meet the ZORGI teams, who have already demonstrated their skills in developing software for the healthcare sector, and I’m looking forward to working with them as of September to meet the numerous challenges that lie ahead.”

Transition period planned

Appointed interim CEO at the end of last year, Stéphane Moray will continue to manage the handover to the new CEO, who is scheduled to take up his position officially in September 2023. Stéphane Moray will then resume his duties as the company’s fulltime CFO.
