NRB is reaffirming its role as a pillar of digital sovereignty in Belgium with the addition of a site in Muizen. Present now in Herstal, Villers-le-Bouillet and Muizen, NRB offers a network of geo-resilient, interconnected, highly secure and multi-certified Data Centers to serve the country’s critical sectors.
In a context where data sovereignty issues are becoming increasingly important, NRB is continuing its strategic development and announcing the integration of a third Data Center campus in Muizen, between Brussels and Mechelen. This site is NRB’s first location in Flanders and will strengthen its Belgian network in terms of sovereign hosting.
The Muizen campus has particularly high standards. It is Tier 3+ as well as ISO 9001, 14001, 20000 and 27001 certified, and guarantees 99.995% availability. This state-of-the art infrastructure complements NRB’s already extensive capabilities and will meet the growing demand from clients in the capital and the north of the country.
“At NRB, we have always been quick to react to changes in the market. This new facility is completely in line with our growth trajectory. It strengthens our position as a leading Belgian player in digital sovereignty, while providing a concrete response to our clients’ expectations: local, reliable and immediately operational solutions for hosting their critical data.” Laurence Mathieu, CEO of NRB SA
With its three interconnected campuses — Herstal (our very first site), Villers-le-Bouillet (WDC & BDC) and now Muizen — NRB provides geo-resilient, multi-certified service in line with a Green IT approach. This network, which is the strategic core of all the solutions offered by NRB, allows companies and institutions to rely on a trusted Belgian partner, guaranteeing hosting that complies with national and European regulations.
NRB is already chosen by many key players in the public, hospital, financial, industrial and private sectors. This new site marks a major step forward in its commitment to building strong, inclusive and distributed digital sovereignty across the country.
