Technology is constantly evolving. At the present time it seems impossible to assess the extent to which generative artificial intelligence will disrupt our private and professional lives. A recent study conducted by Roland Berger suggests that the automation of certain tasks could impact 23 million jobs in the global public sector (7.45% of positions).
There are numerous examples of the use of artificial intelligence in public organisations, whether in the fields of medicine, education, or administration.
This modernisation is being demanded by citizens, who want to simplify their interactions with the public sector, but it also raises issues of digital sovereignty. How can critical data be safeguarded while still using AI?
All these issues will be at the heart of the round table discussion organised by NRB in Brussels on 22 April. This event (in English) will address these strategic topics for the public sector in concrete terms.
On this occasion, Axel Böhlke and Pierre Bastien, Partners at Roland Berger, will present the findings of the study devoted to this fascinating and crucial topic for public organisations (“The public sector in the age of Gen AI”).
They will then continue the debate in a round table discussion in which you will participate alongside other decision-makers from public institutions. This will be an opportunity for you to talk about your reality on topics such as sovereignty, AI, the cloud, and cybersecurity.
