Agenda

12:30 p.m.-13:45 p.m.Walking lunch

2:00 p.m. - 2:15 p.m.NRB Introduction, Peter Billiau – COO-Infrastructure, NRB

2:15 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.:  Post-Quantum Cryptography Strategy, Lorenzo Bernardi - Head of Security Services, NRB, Marc Delincé - Digital Architect, NRB

Cryptography is deeply embedded in our digital lives—often without us noticing it. It secures enterprise systems, email communications, digital signatures, payment infrastructures, and much more. However, with the rapid advancement of quantum computing and the threat posed by Shor’s algorithm, the asymmetric cryptographic methods we rely on today are expected to become obsolete within the next five years. Recognizing this critical shift, major institutions such as Europol, the EU, NSA, ANSSI, DGAP, and the NCSC stress the urgent need to migrate to quantum-safe cryptographic algorithms. The threat is not hypothetical—malicious actors are already harvesting encrypted data today, intending to decrypt it once quantum capabilities are available. The time to act is now: transitioning to quantum-resistant solutions is essential to safeguard future data confidentiality.

2:45 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.: Threat Intelligence: Using cybercriminals' data to secure your business, Timmy Magnée & Julien Bastin - Security Engineer, NRB

Let's explore how data accessible to cybercriminals can be used to strengthen your company's security. In this session, we will also discuss techniques for gathering and analysing this information, as well as strategies for anticipating and countering potential threats. By using the same resources as malicious actors, you can better understand their methods and effectively protect your organisation.

3:15 p.m. - 3:45 p.m.Coffee break

3:45 p.m. - 4:05 p.m.: NECS, Belgium's sovereign, multicloud and hybrid cloud, constantly evolving, Michaël Bilalis - NECS–Hybrid Cloud Technical Product Manager, NRB

Learn about the full range of possibilities offered by NECS, NRB's sovereign, multicloud and hybrid cloud. This presentation will also highlight the strategic positioning of this software, as well as its roadmap, its ambitions and a concrete use case.

4:05 p.m. - 4:20 p.m.: Customer testimonial

4:20 p.m. - 4:40 p.m.: Securing generative AI: challenges, solutions and examples, François Collienne - Business Transformation Manager & AI Head of Guild, NRB

Let's look at the main security risks associated with the internal deployment of generative AI in companies. This session will focus on threats such as prompt injection, data poisoning and exfiltration of sensitive data via Large Language Models (LLMs). It will also suggest mitigation measures and best practices, such as input filtering, model monitoring and strict access control, to help organisations take advantage of generative AI with full security.

4:40 p.m. - 4:50 p.m.: Conclusions, Peter Billiau – COO-Infrastructure, NRB

4:50 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.: Drink
