New structure and management at Trasys Greece to support future growth

Athens, the 20th of November 2019 – The NRB Group announces it has appointed Nicolas Strouboulis as Country Manager of Trasys Greece, one of the leading IT application development companies in Greece, that is part of Trasys International, the team within The NRB Group focusing at the European and international public and private organisations. This appointment accompanies some structural organisational changes to support the company’s further success and growth and its’ clients’ evolving needs and expectations.

Nicolas Strouboulis, who will lead Trasys Greece as Country Manager, is a 49-year-old Greek national born in Belgium, who joined the NRB Group in 2019. He has 25 years of experience in the IT industry. He founded and led an IT consulting company for many years, was CTO of a start-up and has had several positions such as Head of IT Development for different European and international public and private organisations. He will be assisted by Evangelos Konstantinos who will coordinate the entire Delivery. Nicolas Strouboulis highlights the knowhow and talent of the team. “I’m honoured to be leading this fantastic team. In the last couple of months, we have obtained a series of challenging new contracts for top clients in the international private and public sector. It is the best illustration of the drive of the team to continue to develop itself. Trasys International achieved a turnover of more than 46 million euros in 2018 and foresees double-digit growth in the coming years. Trasys Greece, its’ Athens-based software development centre, has been showing growth figures of more than 15% for the last three years as well. For 2020, the target turnover is set to nearly 16 million euros. In that context, it is now looking to recruit more than 50 new IT-profiles in the year to come. “We maybe are not the largest in the sector in Greece, but we are most definitely a leading company in terms of software engineering and talent development. We give a purpose to what we do, to our clients and to our colleagues.”

At this occasion, Trasys International also announces it has recently obtained two important new contracts for the UK Ministerial Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy and for QUALCO, an expert provider of debt portfolio management systems and technology-enabled services, based in Greece.
